Come prepared for all conditions
Weather here changes fast and at elevation it can go from sun to snow inside an hour.
Able to carry everything on this list.
Minimum, at the start.
Food or nutrition of your choosing.
Windproof or waterproof, with a hood.
Space blanket or bivy.
It is colder up there than at the start.
On the outside of your pack.
The race is 100% cupless.
Recommended. Poles for the climb, trail shoes with real grip for the scree, sunglasses, sunscreen and a small first aid kit.
Parking
Parking is limited to the gravel road between Folding Mountain Brewing and Jasper East Hostel, first come first served, and it fills early.
If you can share a car, share a car.
Spectators
Both courses come back through basecamp, so the best place to watch is the spectator area in front of the brewery. Bring chairs.
You can ride a bike out to Aid Station 1 and 2. Please do not drive to aid stations — it congests the course. Live results are on Zone4 rather than from the timers.
People are staying in the cabins. Do not set up camp in front of one that is not yours.
On site
Award-winning beer and a custom race lager at the finish. Vegan options.
Gear, nutrition and the things you forgot.
Expo and demo — try shoes on real terrain.
Sports therapy and taping, before and after.
Juniper Pizza Pies, Big Bird BBQ, Funky Monkey Ice Cream, Tim Hortons.
First aid and medical support on site all day.

Where to stay
Log cabins and a campground in the village.
Where package pickup happens. Two minutes from the start.
Rooms and the Stone Peak Restaurant.
Hotels, groceries and everything else.
Safety
Make noise in dense sections, do not approach wildlife, and report sightings at the next aid station.
If you withdraw, tell an aid station or an official. We account for every runner — do not leave the course without checking in.
Emergency extraction away from an aid station: David, Hinton Search and Rescue — 587-284-4677.
Volunteer
From aid stations, to course marshals, to the crew who spend the day on the scree slope, we need many helping hands to make for an amazing day in the mountains. No experience necessary, all are welcome!
